Status: The aromaComposer™
For those that have made it to this page, by choice
or direct link, here is information regarding the status of the
aromaComposer project from inception to near future.
FIRST-GENERATION: Integrated into the MSS

The creators came together 10 years ago to
combine many sophisticated mind-body technologies into a single
device. The result was the Multisensory Stimulation System
(MSS), a 21st century multidimensional projection system that
is immersive, interactive, and guides users through powerful
and very personal inner journeys. Their MSS includes visual,
aural, olfactory and tactile stimulation systems. |
During development, unable to find any existing aromatherapy
diffusion system that met their needs, they created and patented
a system of their own that solved the shortcoming in all existing
systems. Users quickly fell in love with the aroma diffusion system,
which we named the "aromaComposer".
Results of testing the First-Generation

We have successfully operated the first working prototype
of the aromaComposer since late 1998, as part of the MSS
experience. This integrated aromaComposer taught us much
about our technology and its potential applications in the
marketplace. It enabled us to design and fabricate a highly
refined second-generation prototype as a portable freestanding
device.

SECOND GENERATION: Freestanding Prototype

Our freestanding/portable aromaComposer prototype
system has the capacity to create synergetic blends from a
collection of individual component or multi-component essential
oils. Its purpose is to demonstrate the many unique advantages
of the system to potential partners, licensees and/or users.
Qualified aromatherapists and their clients, engineers and
product designers, and industry-marketing consultants have
and will continue to be given the opportunity to test and
evaluate this portable system. Their input has helped us to
further refine and expand (differentiate) our designs. |
Results of second generation testing - "Very favorable!"
This second-generation system does everything we
hoped for and more, testing well with both live computer and recorded
discs connected to it. We have achieved the high resolution blending
ability we predicted. Experimental testing resulted in acquisition
of much important data, jump-starting any manufacturing design
effort.
The freestanding/portable version was programmed
for demonstration purposes and has been experienced by many with
great success.
THIRD GENERATION: Production Models
We have made considerable progress in development
of our third-gen "production prototype" AromaComposer
models. Each version has been tailored for a specific market;
each has been designed to meet specialized parameters and budget
requirements. Size has been reduced considerably and the distance
of scent projection extended greatly. Shortly, we will be in production
of 1) a semi-custom hand-built model for “special needs” therapies
and other environments, 2) a high-end professional spa model,
3) a hotel version and eventually 4) a “Sharper Image” type geared
for LOHAS consumers (Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability).
